The Veterinary Hospital Team
 The people of the practice are our greatest asset. Although the facilities, equipment and availability of veterinary attention are important, it is our team that makes The Veterinary Hospital Group unique.
Personnel work at different sites, from Chaddlewood at the eastern end of Plymouth to St. Budeaux which is almost in Cornwall.
In addition we may work at very different hours; our emergency vets and nurses who run our Out-of-Hours Plymouth VetCall service are rarely seen during normal working hours whereas most of our team now work conventional hours and are fresher for it! We hold regular training sessions on a Wednesday afternoon with speakers from within or outwith the practice which keeps everybody up to date on the latest techniques, diseases, medicines and equipment.
All team members are encouraged to take part in further training and continuing professional development, and everybody has an important part to play in the smooth running of the practice. The vets might be the people who treat or operate on your pet but they could not function without the expert assistance of the nurses; and of course our receptionists are there to make appointments and answer telephone enquiries, and our office staff to keep everything running smoothly.
When asked what he did, a cleaner at NASA some years ago said he helped to put a man on the moon! We may not do that, but all of our team are here to help to provide high quality care for you and your pet. Now choose whom you would like to meet from the menu on the right!
